ShotPoint can vastly improve the response in the event of an active shooter over current practice. ShotPoint uses networked acoustic sensors that automatically detect, locate, reports the exact time and location of the source of gunfire. ShotPoint sends the location (and in some cases bullet trajectory) referenced to maps or floorpans and cue video systems to the shooter at the exact time of the shot. ShotPoint is a fast, accurate, and workable solution to the problem of active shooters.
