Exygy is digital innovation studio dedicated to building healthy and resilient communities. Our work is mainly focused in the health and civic sectors.

We practice rapid prototyping, design sprints, user research, and agile software development to create digital tools that solve problems within our local community, across the country, and internationally.

One example of our work is with the SF Mayor’s Office to make affordable housing more accessible. Together, we created DAHLIA - San Francisco’s one-stop-shop for affordable housing. DAHLIA replaced a completely paper-based process that was painstaking, time-consuming, and all-together frustrating. We launched the first version of the product in 90 business days, and have since gathered feedback from users, continued to build on it for the past 3 years. And the results are clear: when online applications are available for a listing, over 90% of applicants choose to apply online.
