Smart Dublin is an initiative of the four Dublin Local Authorities to engage with smart technology providers, researchers and citizens to solve challenges and improve city life. We aim to position Dublin as a world leader in the development of new urban solutions, using open data, and with the city region as a test bed.
We ran workshops with over 100 operational staff across Dublin’s 4 Local Authorities to define Smart Dublin’s challenges. We publish open calls to find solutions to those challenges.
The Smart Docklands District, with its density of new builds, global tech companies and range of connectivity options, provides a unique platform for innovators and entrepreneurs to develop new and innovative solutions that will transform our cities. Our vision is that the Dublin Docklands will become the world’s most connected business and living district.
The Dublin Dashboard allows users to get detailed and updated information about the city that helps decision making and encourages evidence-informed analysis.
