The Village of Glenview was incorporated in 1899, and today serves an area of 14 square miles with a population of 48,705. The Village is a home-rule municipality under the 1970 Illinois Constitution, operating under the Council-Manager form of government. The Village’s Board consists of a Village President and six Trustees. The Village’s fiscal year begins on January 1 and ends on December 31.
