Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management Software (CAASM) software helps organizations identify, monitor, and manage their digital attack surface—essentially, all potential points of vulnerability within their cyber environment. This software automates the discovery of assets, including cloud services, endpoints, and IoT devices, and assesses their security posture. This is slightly different from external surface attack management (EASM) software, as CAASM is more focused on internal assets and EASM software is focused on external facing assets and specifically analyzes potential attack vectors and tactics used by adversaries.
