We bring together events from the local government and partners into a single place, helping residents to stay local and get connected with their communities.
Lupn helps local governments and their partners (associations, chambers of commerce and local businesses) to publish events seamlessly in order to increase residents’ engagement and awareness of public events, meetings and programs.
On the end user side, Lupn helps city residents to find local events (city-sponsored or community) via an ultra-simple mobile app and a partnership with Goldstar (a discounted ticket platform). All for free.
Lupn city app is available on Google Play and App Store.
Lupn leverages a few technologies for different reasons. We use Amazon Web Services (Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, S3, SES) for our Content Management System. We use Google Analytics and Facebook Tracking for our web analytics and Mixpanel for our in app analytics. We use the Laravel PHP framework for our API and CMS and WordPress for our main public facing site. We use Facebook’s React Native for our mobile app. We use Google’s Business Suite (email, drive, docs, calendar, etc), Zoom (video conferencing) and Slack (chat, file share) for communication. We use Bitbucket for our code repositories.
