Our Products

Amazon CloudWatch

Product Overview

Amazon CloudWatch is AWS's native observability service for collecting logs, metrics, traces, and alarms across AWS and hybrid environments. CloudWatch Logs ingests and stores log data with up to 15 months of retention, and in 2026 the service added native OpenTelemetry (OTLP) metric ingestion with PromQL querying. Combined with Application Signals and AWS X-Ray, it provides application performance monitoring for cloud-native workloads, delivered as part of the AWS platform.

Datadog Log Management Datadog

Datadog is a unified cloud observability platform in which log management sits alongside infrastructure monitoring, APM, real-user monitoring, and security as separately billed modules. Logs use an ingest-then-index model, letting teams collect everything cheaply and index only what they need, with retention tiers driving cost. With 1,000+ integrations and a single SaaS interface, it is widely adopted by enterprise DevOps teams needing full-stack visibility.

Chronosphere Log Management Chronosphere

Chronosphere is a cloud-native observability platform built for controlling the cost and volume of telemetry at large scale. Created by former Uber engineers behind the M3 metrics project, it spans metrics, traces, and logs, and pairs log management with a Telemetry Pipeline (based on Fluent Bit / Calyptia) that shapes and reduces data before it is stored. The product is a proprietary SaaS offering aimed at large enterprises and high-volume cloud-native environments rather than a self-hosted or open-source tool.

OpenObserve OpenObserve

OpenObserve is an open-source (Apache 2.0), OpenTelemetry-native observability platform built in Rust that unifies logs, metrics, traces, and dashboards in a single system. It is engineered for high-volume ingestion at low storage cost using S3-compatible object storage, and can be self-hosted from a single binary or run as a managed cloud service. The platform includes full-text search, alerting, RUM, and distributed tracing/APM without per-host pricing.
