ETA Transit APC ETA supplies automatic passenger counting as an integrated solution rather than a sensor of its own, letting agencies select from supported hardware or connect equipment already installed. Its Vehicle Logic Unit reads the sensors and transmits counts in real time to SPOT, ETA's cloud CAD/AVL platform, whose reporting engine produces tabular, graphical and analytical ridership reports. Tally is the survey, validation and NTD-certification layer, used to run sample trips and reconcile automated against manual counts. ETA deployed the first Xovis, then HELLA, APC sensors in the US in 2013 at Miami, Florida.
