Esri provides GIS software, including ArcGIS, for mapping and spatial analytics.
ArcGIS Flight (successor to the Site Scan Flight iOS apps, released 8 July 2024) is Esri's drone flight planning and imagery capture application, feeding captured imagery directly into the ArcGIS geospatial platform for processing and analysis. It supports vertical, perimeter, corridor and panorama mission types for mapping structures, roads and pipelines, and embeds Airspace Link's LAANC authorization so pilots can request FAA approval without leaving the flight planner. It is a capture app; fleet management and processing live in the separate Site Scan for ArcGIS product.
CAPE is Motorola Solutions' cloud-based drone software allowing teams to pilot drones locally or remotely from a web browser, live stream HD video anywhere and capture evidence-grade aerial footage. Motorola markets it as a platform for piloting 'drones of choice' and supports a mixed fleet including NDAA-compliant airframes. It is sold within Motorola's broader public safety portfolio alongside CAD, radio and video security.
Aloft Air Control AloftAloft Air Control is an airspace authorization and fleet management platform and the largest FAA-approved UAS Service Supplier (USS) for LAANC by volume. Aloft crossed 1 million LAANC authorizations in September 2023 and self-reports a majority share of US LAANC traffic; the vendor's own pages quote 50%, 70% and 85% in different places, and the FAA publishes no LAANC market-share data to arbitrate. Individual pilots use the platform free; team and enterprise tiers add multi-pilot authorization and fleet management. Acquired by Versaterm on 18 February 2026.
