Manufacturer material databases update costs, and digital takeoff is provided by the EDGE Smart Takeoff add-on. Estimating Edge is owned by Foundation Software.
Procore Estimating (formerly Esticom) is a cloud takeoff and estimating product that extracts quantities from 2D drawings and 3D models with AI auto-count and area detection, and builds estimates from a customizable parts and assemblies database. Estimates flow into Procore's bid, contract and financial tools. Procore support documents a standalone version.
Quick Bid ConstructConnectQuick Bid is a Windows estimating application from On Center Software (ConstructConnect) for pricing line items, labor production and supplier quotes into bid proposals. Drawing takeoff is done in its companion product, On-Screen Takeoff, which feeds quantities into Quick Bid. Both are licensed per seat with annual maintenance.
Square Takeoff Square TakeoffSquare Takeoff is a cloud-based takeoff and estimating application for contractors, builders and estimators that measures PDF plans and calculates material and labor costs from takeoff data. It includes an Auto Count tool. It is owned by Buildertrend and also powers Buildertrend Takeoff.
