Data can be collected through Mezmo Edge, OpenTelemetry, or direct integrations, with pipeline controls that reduce downstream cost and improve query performance. It is HIPAA-compliant, delivered as SaaS, and oriented toward organizations managing large, cost-sensitive log streams.

Honeycomb is an observability platform built around high-cardinality events and distributed tracing, letting teams slice telemetry by arbitrary dimensions to debug complex systems. It is OpenTelemetry-native, ingesting OTLP without schema translation, and features tools like BubbleUp for rapid anomaly isolation and SLO tracking. Delivered as SaaS with event-based (events-per-month) pricing, it is aimed primarily at engineering teams debugging production software.
